Okoboji Blue Water Festival: Fishing Clinics

There will be something for everybody at the August 13 Okoboji Blue Water Festival in the Preservation Plaza at the Arnolds Park Amusement Park. Preservation Plaza will be a hub of activity in the afternoon with 30 water quality exhibitors, plenty of fun-filled and clean water-themed activities for kids and a distinguished panel of speakers under the big tent.
Plus, anglers young and old can come learn fishing techniques from three outstanding professional guides on the Iowa Great Lakes:

“Slip Bobber Techniques that Will Make a Difference”
2:00 M. Doug Burns – The Iowa Guide
“The Basics” – For kids of all ages! This workshop will be hands-on with The Iowa Guide helping kids learn about panfishing, tying knots and actually putting everything to use as they cast and fish off of the dock.
The furthest east state dock will be roped off for hands-on casting and fishing.
