NWIO Youth Art Contest

Earn a position in the Northwest Iowa Outdoors art department. Open to Iowa artists in 12th grade and under.
The year-end first place winner will receive their own art gallery on this site. You will become an official Northwest Iowa Outdoors Artist!

Northwest Iowa Outdoors believes in utilizing the arts as a tool to discover and appreciate nature.

Artwork must be of nature/outdoors theme. This may include but definitely not limited to: landscapes, trees, plants, flowers, people, hunting, fishing, hiking, buildings, and wildlife. All traditional mediums are accepted. Digital (photoshop) artwork is also accepted as long as it’s created using brush tools. Please no photo manipulations.

New contests will be posted monthly (or the amount of time required to get to the 2 submission minimum). Each group of artwork will be voted on by NWIO site members. The voting will end when the new group of submissions are posted. Each group winner will move on to the year-end winners bracket, which will be opened for voting in January. The year-end first place winner will be given the art position.

All group and year-end winners will be featured on the home page of this site!
