Baggie Omelets

This too is one of our favorites, kids love these as does the husband, we all have our different likes and this is PERFECT for getting what you want on the omelet.

Items needed:

Ziploc Baggies, be sure to use Ziploc brand, I have tried no brands and they don’t seem to hold up as well in the heat.

2 eggs per omelet

Any omelet ingredients you enjoy; cheese, ham, crumbled pre-cooked sausage, peppers, onions, ect

Marking Device

Boiling Pan/ we put our pan full of water right over the fire pit so be sure its a pan that can withstand the heat.

Directions:

I line up everything buffet style and let everyone have at it. Break eggs into baggie and add ingredients. Smash all ingredients, till eggs are completely broken and mixed.   Squeeze out all air and seal.  Mark your bag with your name and add baggie to pot of boiling water.

*A few things, no more than 2 eggs per baggie(won’t cook right), may have to take baggie out of water and squeeze ingredients during cooking to ensure completely cooked.
